too much about me.
The Basics:
I was born the 14 November 1982 in Twin Falls, Idaho. I am the middle of nine children. Some have told me being the “middle child” can cause you to feel as if you were born too late to get the special first-born treatment. You might also feel like you were born too early to get the attention that the “baby” of the family gets. I like my spot. I am young enough that I get to glean from what my older siblings have to teach me, and what my parents learned by trial and error on the first four; yet I am old enough that I get to feel like an older brother. If there is one thing that I would want you to remember about me, it is that I LOVE my family. I love families period. God established the family as the very building blocks of society.
Being raised on the farms of Burley Idaho with my five brothers, three sisters, I learned to work hard. I spent long hours working on my uncles farms. I had no problem finding time to socialize. My grandma would always say that “Jeff, is such a social butterfly.â€

Education/Experience Background:
I am a proud graduate from American Heritage Academy (It was there, that I began to really understand the principles of freedom). Trying to get a jump on my education while still attending my senior year, I decided to take night classes at the College of Southern Idaho . At the age of 18, I started a profitable landscaping business. Leaving this tiny business, I took two years off of studies and work to serve a mission in Dublin, Ireland for my church. After being home for only four months, I decided to pack my bags again, buy a little 91 VW Jetta and venture to the Twin Cities, MN (later transferred to San Francisco) to sell security systems door-to-door for an ADT nationwide dealer. This was a remarkable experience for me. I was plesantly surprised when I ranked second in the company for sales 2005. After that summer of security sales the doors of opportunity just opened up to me. Everyone wanted me to sale for them. After recieving the smart council of others I decided to move away from door-to-door sales. It was time to head back to school. I am passionate about education. I found a life in corporate sales and never looked back. I accepted an offer as Account Executive at American Promotions. Later, in March of 2005, my brother Neal (click for his blog) introduced me to iMemoryBook and FamilyLearn. Neal had been working on the project for a year or two and when I saw what he was doing I decided this was a company I wanted to help build. I am passionate about the mission of FamilyLearn. In April (2006), I graduated from the LDS Business College with an ASS in Business (as you can see I am just getting started in my education, but I am started). I am currently attending Brigham Young University studying Business Marketing at the Marriott School of Business.
Not Work:
School, dating, skiing in water, sand, or snow; mountain biking, rock climbing, paintball, and almost all other outdoor sports. I also enjoy art, drawing, sculpting, theater, singing, swing dancing and riding my motorcycle.
I love work:
When I was younger my mom would always ask what I wanted to be when I grew up. I would tell her that I was fine with anything that made a lot of money, because pretty much everything I loved to do costs money, and if I had a job that I liked but no money I would never get to do anything I loved to do.
Now, seven years down the road, my mind has been changed. There are so many things that anyone of us can do to make the money we need. I love work! When I am at school I can hardly stop thinking about it. When I am out with friends they can’t get me to shut up about it. I guess all I needed to do was find a job that I loved as much as I love my play. I had a friend who once told me, ‘find a job you love and you will never have to work a day of your life.’
