Lately it feels like I have ended up in the business of t-shirts. This past Christmas my brothers and I created Status King, a t-shirt store that puts your facebook status update on a t-shirt. It has been fairly successful and now has over 23,000 users.

This week, here at FamilyLink, we released Dadtastic.net. Dadtastic does two things:

1 Make clever Father’s Day t-shirts for Dad.

Here is my favorite t-shirt image. I bought this on for my dad last week.

2 Dadtastic.net gives you a simple way to celebrate Father’s Day on Facebook.

To celebrate Father’s Day simply click “Share on Facebook” and it will automatically upload the image to your facebook.

This being my first project as a Social Marketing Manager at FamilyLink, I am hoping hoping hoping that it goes very viral before Father’s Day.

About a week ago I made the post about the “top 25 funniest facebook status updates of all time”. I used the keyword “facebook status” because it is googled about 1000 times per day. That single facebook status post has driven even more traffic to my blog than the day my Ron Paul post got recognized by Lew Rockwell and hit the front page of Digg. Guess that shows the power of picking a good keyword set.

I believe our facebook app, Status King, will rise to the top of the searches like: “facebook status”, “funniest facebook status updates”, “funny facebook status”, etc… within the next few months.

For those of you who don’t know yet, Status King is a facebook app that not only has the best set of clever facebook status updates that exist, but it also allows you to print your facebook status on a custom T-shirt.
