Smart voters VS Dumb voters.

Wednesday, January 30th, 2008

I was greatly disappointed that Juan McCain won Florida today. I am not one to call names, but in McCain’s case I think there are exceptions:

But the race is far from over, as Paul Allen put it, “Romney can win this.” . As Ron Paul put it:

One would never know this from the mainstream media, but we’ve only had a few primaries and caucuses, and even after the extremely important date of February 5th, we will still have more than half to go. And the Republican nominee will not be decided by the popular vote among the “leading candidates” in a few states also handpicked by the media. The nominee will be decided by the delegates…

On “Super Tuesday,” February 5th, there will be 22 primaries and caucuses. I have a hunch that we’re going to do very well. But, of course, the media and the rest of the establishment refuse to recognize that. It’s the attitude of the small child who covers his eyes to make something scary go away. But we are not going away.

I admire how incredible Romney’s campaign is. If you have been watching from the beginning, Mitt has come from “long-shot” with no momentum to a flat tie for first. It is nothing short of incredible orginization, great financial sacrifice, and mostly hard work. Recently, someone asked if Paulbots (that is what they call people like me who support Paul) and Romneyites have a special kinship? Both are NOT treated fairly by the media. Because the two of them are my first and second choices, I have to say, I do have a special kinship :)

I believe that the final three candidates will be Romney, McCain, and Paul. Why? Romney will work hard and he can still fund his campaign (not just from his own funds). McCain has some momentum, but mostly the media just plain LOVES him (they run his bankrupt campaign for him). And Paul has the biggest grassroots campaign, he owns the Internet, and his supporters will fund him to the end (even after scandals like Louisiana, and literal media blackouts, we are still in this to win).

I wish I had more time to explain everything I love about Ron Paul, but I have to spend most of my time on our new website, www.pyxlin.com. So here is a short glimpse at the consistency and integrity of this man’s record:

  • Brief Overview of Congressman Paul’s Record:
  • He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
  • He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war (it was unconstitutional, how can we go to war without declaring it? we haven’t declared a war constitutionally since WWII, it is no wonder we haven’t won a war either).
  • He is pro-life!
  • He is a doctor and understands the Health Care system.
  • He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.
  • Congressman Paul introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress.

If you are smart you will vote for Mitt Romney, but if you are REALLY smart you will vote for Ron Paul.
