Proposition 8 - Why is the Teachers Union donating $1 million dollars if there is no effect on Education?
Thursday, October 23rd, 2008I think this is a valid question. I have seen dozens of articles saying that Proposition 8 supporters are lieing when they say this is going to affect education. If this is true why in the world is the Teachers Union putting money into it at all? That is because it is going to affect education:
…the California Department of Education (CDE) Web site notes specifically that in the 96 percent of school districts that do accept the curriculum, they are REQUIRED to include instruction and materials that “teach respect for marriage.”
